How I Work:  I listen carefully and gather the information about you and your situation that will help me to help you, throughout our professional relationship.  Drawing on my experience with past clients, my knowledge of the market, and my professional training as a REALTOR, I provide skilled analysis andgive you candid and thoughtful recommendations to help you make good real estate decisions.

How I Represent You:  I represent you and only you; although dual agency (representing clients on both buyer and seller sides of a transaction) is legal in Virginia, it does not match my personal vision of the service I believe all clients deserve.  My goal is to do more than facilitate transactions; I believe the best outcomes are obtained when buyers and sellers each have their own representation.  My clients often compliment me on my strong work ethic; on my understanding of their needs; on my ability to educate them about the real estate environment; on my skill as a negotiator; and on my complete dedication to protecting their interests, regardless of how my own compensation is affected.

Personal History I am a native of Virginia, but I grew up on the Maryland side of the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  I was a museum educator and a writer before I became a real estate agent.  I hold degrees in Art History (BA) and Museum Education (MAEd).  I am married and have two children.
